24/7 Tritium Sight Set

I have these on 2 of my carry guns and 1 of my race guns. The way I look at it is big dot for carry guns and small dot if you want to punch out targets. For quick sight aquazition I rather have a big obvious front sight and not much for rear to distract me, just like these. Yes these are not pinpoint competetion sights as the front does obscure smaller targets, but the small dot version improves that quite a bit. For a carry gun big dots are they way to go. In a high stress situation sight picture goes out the window at least you have a chance with a big white dot to put on target.
Fast, point blank perfection

I bought these for my G36. Put them on without the lock tight just to evaluate. Shot a series of Lucky Gunner Eval targets and some 10 Circle exercise targets. Took them off and permanently installed on my G30S, my primary carry. I cannot believe how good they are. Presentation, front sight, BANG. They will not win a bull's-eye match but they will give you speed and dogfight precision, a fighting edge over any other sight you have. Express sights have been installed on DG rifles for over 100 years. We use them at 7 yards and under. Jees they are quick, to me they are so natural. At twilight and later, just dot the I. It really works. My 58 year old eyes get it. You don't have to think, you just do it. They are not the end all of sight sets, and are not for everything. For a defensive, fighting edge sight set, there are none quicker or better. Some are more precise, and they are good, but you have to have time for that.
Ordered my second set.
My first review has not been published yet. I think these things are awesome. The fastest sights I have ever used. Ordered for a G36, fired about 100 rounds, then yanked them off, put em on my primary carry, a G30S. This set is going on a G19 Gen4. Rat hole some more money and get a set for my "Dress Up" Suit and Tie G43. That's next. They could use a bigger vial, and / or better tritium in the front site, brighten it up some but as a rule I'm home at night. If we are out for supper, ambient parking lot light is enough to get that big wonderful dot centered. I know because I checked.
Express sights have been around for over 100 years on dangerous game rifles. Their is a reason. They are fast, they are accurate enough, they are surprisingly easy to use and they work.
2,000 rounds later
I put a set of XS standard dot sights on my G19. Tridium front and white line rear. After nearly 2,000 rounds I can definitively say they are the best set of sights I've ever owned and the only sights I will install on a firearm from here on. Stupid fast target acquisition and well made.
