Glock 43X 9mm

I went to the gun store about 4 months ago and as I sat there I spied a Glock 43X and being a guy I asked to see it. It fit my hand perfectly. It naturally pointed where I was looking. Plus it was light! But I still had misgivings because I had hated the original Glock triggers. I tried this and it could be better but it wasn't horrible. That Glock went home with me.
Loaded with 50 gr Critical Defense rounds , OH MY! 11 potent rounds of 9mm in a gun that doesn't pull down my pants. Does it shoot? Absoutely. It became my daily carry gun.
Stock, the gun is a keeper. You really don't have to take it to the next level but you can. I want an even better trigger and extended controls. With Lenny's videos and the parts at the store, that's easy. The 43X and Lenny have made me a Glock fan.

This is my first firearm. I'm 5'10 and about 150 lbs. I don't have large hands. I purchased during COVID-19 so I was not able to fire down range prior to purchasing. I held several other compact firearms (various Glocks, P365, M&P Shield). The 43x was by far the most comfortable in MY hands. Purchased and came back a few days later to complete my NRA safety course and learn. I am extremely happy with my purchase. Everyone owns a firearm for a different reason. This is a firearm I am able comfortable to open carry (and hopefully/eventually concealed carry). Looking forward to continuously learning.

I carried the G19 for years. Shoots very well for me. However, I felt that the grip was a bit big for my medium hands. The 43X feels by far better and I can get a full excellent grip. My wife's first choice too. I love the 10+1 rounds and it conceals much better. Added night sights and a Lasermax recoil spring laser. I like the sliver slide. Paired with a Fobus OWB paddle Kydex and the matching mag carrier, I am happy.
When I drive, I like to carry my little KelTec PF9 crossdraw with a leather paddle holster. My Glocks are unreachable quickly at the 3 o"clock (my favorite cc position). The seatbelt and a winter jacket make a quick draw impossible. The PF9 is small enough to work perfectly and is another GREAT gun that I love.
Love all my guns and the flexibility I get with switching as needed.

This is truly a great gun but can't give it 5 stars because of the proprietary light rail and sight option.
Aside from those two issues I REALLY love the feel of this gun and how it shoots.
It could have been truly "Perfection" but Glock dropped the ball right before the finish line. That being said... .I still think this gun w/ the Shield Arms S15 magazine is still the best handgun on the market today for my purposes.

felt good in the store and after shooting it it was pinching my pinky finger. I added a mag well and now it is perfect. For some reason it is more accurate than my gen 5 g19 I love them both but if I could only hav one, it would be the 43X

A Glock was not my first choice when looking at 9mm, but when the salesman let me check it out, I said, "Wow, this is nice!" Light-weight, thin, easy to carry and comes with 10-round magazine (max. allowed by NJ law). Shot twice at the range in the first four days of ownership, expending approx. 150 rounds. Outstanding pistol for the money.

Awesome carry gun!! The longer grip is what sells it. When shooting a handgun you must be able to have a good full grip of the gun so you can control the firearm. With these other compacts with the shorter grips, they are hard to hang on to and control. And your limited to ammo do to the shorter mag.
The 43x allows a good grip for better control and a longer mag to hold more rounds. Shield arms makes a steel Hi-Cap mag that holds 15 rounds for the ultimate carry Glock!!
Remember, gun control is being able to hit your target…

Super accurate
Very concealable

Just bought my 43x. Shot it for the first time today and it was a dream. Definitely found my new EDC
