Glock 48 9mm

Love the 48! Being 6'3" I have really long fingers. My support hand thumb is far enough back from the muzzle on the 48 for me to be comfortable shooting it. This is not the case with the 43 for me.

In my hands it feels like a 9mm 1911. Nothing against Glock, but I have never been a Glock guy. I have never been excited for a Glock release. Ive owned a G3 19 for awhile, but I actually lost sleep over the 48. Its a full size gun that feels like a subcompact.

With more rounds its lighter than my previous EDC (rhymes with field). It also has a 4" barrel, meaning better hollow point expansion and a full hand grip. Im impressed, way to go Glock! The 48 is the perfect crossover compact pistol IMO.

I had some range time with a G48 last week at a low light training session. I went out and purchased one the next day. This is the best hand fit I've had in a pistol in years. Both my unsupported strong hand and off- hand accurracy improved immediately. The pistol shot between 6" and 8" groups out to 35ft out of the box. Tis will definately be my EDC after a few more accessories are developed.

I was sold on a 43x, it was everything I wanted in a edc gun... I went to purchase it and seen the 48, fondeled it for a while.. 43x for a while... wow to me, the 48 just feels right, I like the size of it, just feels a lot better than the 43x did to me... get both in your hands before making your decision...

Tested this a a birthday party at the range. I went the next day and bought this amazing weapon. It shoots so smooth and accurate. Five stars for Glock 48. One of the best pistols I have shot ever, this includes my military background and also being from a country background. Smooth as butter. I suggest you grab one or two.

I saw it when I stopped to look at a 43X. The 48 felt, to me, like the perfect answer to the 19 I rarely carried. I did have a 43, bought at it's introduction, but it always felt like just maybe not enough. I traded my 43 for the 48, it fits all my 43 holsters, and even with only four more rounds, it just feels right. Glad I made the purchase.

Been a Springfeild owner for a long time, never found a Glock that fit just right until I tried to 48. Kept going back and holding it. Now I work parttime at a Glock range so I got hassled a lot to buy a Glock. Now I own one and love the 48.

Iv always been a 1911 guy from the start but, iv had my share of glocks as well, Glock makes a great and life trusting gun, iv never had a flaw or anything negative to say with my glocks, I bought the Glock 48x for my wife about 2 months ago and she's been in love with it, as iv gotten to shoot it more n more when able iv come to like it maybe more than my factory Glock 19 and my Custom Glock 19, it slim design almost feels identical to holding a 9mm 1911 and it's lightweight and smooth recoil makes it all the more perfect. Great job Glock definitely a 5 Star product the 48X is, i would definitely recommend the 48X to men or women either one or even as a great starter gun for someone, not to heavy or to light or to bulky but just right (in my opinion) . I have a G42 for CCW but wanted to step up to a 9mm, I bought a S&W M&P shield but was having control issues with a 3in barrel, a friend of mine suggested the new G48. It felt right in my hand and I liked the 10rnd mag, being in NY I had to like it. Bought it, went to the range and WOW what a difference an 1 1/4 makes. Cant say enough about this weapon, it was well worth the price I paid and traded the M&P for it. I highly recommend this weapon, for CCW.

We decided to choose a GLOCK 48 X because of the slimer feel and design for concealment.
With a 9mm in mind and 135 grn. jacketed rounds, the power and accuracy is exceptionally
good! The marksmen barrel is a plus added to the GLOCK. We hope to see multi parts available
for future advancements and training multi purposes...

After holding the new Glock 48, I sold both my G 43 and G 19! It’s the best of both......easily concealed AIWB, and more accurate than the G 19! I’ll put around 6,000 rounds a year through it......for many years. I’m actually going to buy another identical G 48 to carry everyday...... put about 1,000 rounds through it to ensure it’s reliability, but use it primarily as my daily carry gun...... keep it a “low mileage unit” for self defense. I plan to shoot the crap out if the one I have now.... it’ll be interesting to see how many rounds I put through it!
Bottom line.....I’m obviously a Glock lover..... shot them for years..... Glock hit a homer with this one!

Was never a fan of Glock though I admired the simplicity and reliability. The 48 changed my mind, even though my hands can handle the 17/19/21 I never liked it. The 48 is a slimmer 19 which to me is the perfect Glock for civilian carry. Concealed or exposed, pocket or belt. The factory sights are clear enough to hit my target at 25 yards and beyond, the balance, weight and grip just work for me. 10 round mag equals my J frame + reload. What's not to like?

Of all my Carry handguns, my G48 is the pinnacle of what I prefer. The slim design makes concealment much easier. The grip size makes it faster to get a good purchase on the gun. I chose Ameriglo sights, which give me an excellent sight picture. I think of the G48 as a slim G19.

I looked at and held many models of Glock hand guns and I couldn’t make up my mind then the dealer went to the back and came back with a black a Glock 48 laid it on the counter and said we just got a new shipment in so I picked it up and that was it, it was a perfect fit so that was the one I bought even though it is a 10+1. it is perfect for concealment you can’t tell I’m carrying it, I have sense changed it to a 3.0 trigger pull which was a good move now I’m going to change some of my clips to 14+1 this is truly a sweet gun and also I turned around and bought one for my wife and she loves it.

I purchased the Glock 48 and that firearm is the best. Smooth and easy to use. I just added a rail and light and now the gun has it all. Not only does it look great but it performs fantastic. 2 huge thumbs up plus the video about the firearm on the Glockstore website was very informative.

The G48 is essentially a single stack model of the ever popular G19.
The G48 has been my EDC for about a year now. The more narrow profile makes a huge improvement in concealability over many other handguns.

This is my choice for an EDC. Simple esthetics, exceptional function and reliability. Extraordinary accuracy. First three shots out of the box, all dead center,

There was no point for me to waste ammo on more paper targets.
