Excellent

I ordered the Storm Lake 9mm conversion barrel to be able to take advantage of my supply of existing 9mm ammo for use in my Gen 3 and Gen 4 Glock 22 pistols. After 2 trips to the range and a steel match, I am sold. The barrel drops in just like the Glock .40 and prints groups at about the same point of aim as the .40 Glock barrel. There were no malfunctions using the 3 new Glock 17 magazines. I tried to use a .40 Glock mag with the 9mm to test out the function but found this just results in multiple failures, don't bother. If you are going to use this barrel to convert your G22, get the G17 magazines as well. Converting my .40 to 9mm now allows my wife to fire my Glock with a lighter recoiling cartridge. With the cost difference between .40 and 9mm, the cost of the barrel and a couple of magazines will be recovered in a short time. Machining and overall appearance of the Storm Lake barrel is quite professional.
