Yes, it's the latest generation of Glocks, the Gen5… now in .40 S&W!

Along with the MOS mounting system for Red Dot Optics, here is just a short list of the Gen5 features.

New Finish: Glock's nDLC finish is tougher, more durable, and is on both the barrel and the slide.

New Barrel: Glock's "Marksman" barrel feature new rifling for improved accuracy.

No Finger Grooves: Now your fingers go where they want to go… which is not necessarily where the finger grooves were.

Ambidextrous Slide Stop Lever: Makes it easy to release the slide whether you're shooting right or left handed.

Flared Magwell: Subtle but effective in quick reloads.

MOS Mounting System: Mount virtually any Red Dot Optic on the market with the interchangeable mounting plates.

In addition to the major design features, the Gen5’s also have:

• No locking block pin
• Dehorned slide nose
• Enhanced trigger spring assembly
• Enhanced magazine floorplate
• An orange magazine follower
• Redesigned trigger mechanism housing
• Frame redesign under trigger guard
• Redesigned firing pin and firing pin safety
• Trigger pin modifications
• Modified trigger bar
• New extractor
• Reinforced front slide rails

Hard to Find Parts

I have a hard time trying to find parts and modifications for this Gen 5 since it is so new. The weapon has been great to use.

Get one now, while you can!

I had been meaning to get one of these, after I found out Glock was discontinuing this model & others. Really glad I did bought mine at the Glock Store! Super friendly & helpful people plus excellent prices too!
This is my second.40 caliber Glock, it was worth waiting for all the Gen 5 goodies that come with it!
