Finally the trigger pin meets its match!
by Glenn F.
While the Glock Armorer's manual states: "It is not necessary to use excessive force to remove this pin!", we all know the trigger pin takes more effort, especially on a new Glock. And while moving the slide stop lever forward and backwards helps, you still need more pressure on this pin. This is where this punch, used as a PRESS punch, earns its keep. I've had to use rags to shield my palm on all my other punches; this is the first punch-and the only one I now use-where you don't have to do that. Since it is so long, you can go all the way through without doing damage. I would not, however, use it in a prying motion i.e., to remove magazine baseplates--too long and thin (I'd be afraid of bending or breaking it). I've found other uses for it outside of the trigger pin so I consider it a good tool investment.
Better than the OEM tool!

If you have large hands, the "skinny/thin" OEM pin tool can be a hassle to use... And if you have residual gun cleaner or oil on your hands, it can slip since the OEM tool handle is plastic.
This tool with a large genuine wood handle allows for a nice controlled and non-slip grip.
Money well spent!
