Basic cover OK--BUT...

This is a good cover for protecting your costly RMR. Keeps it clean with minor bump protection. HOWEVER, you may accidentally turn on the RMR when milking it down onto the front of the RMR. It is also possible to turn on the RMR when closing the Glock pistol case when the foam presses against it.

A better cover is the Strike Industries "jellyfish", i.e., transparent (nearly) cover. The RMR can still be turned on manually using that cover, with pressure on the sides, but it prevents accidental turn-on in a case or holster. Try Amazon or Optics Planet - had them last time I looked and got a spare. Barely costs more. See my Amazon review.

I like lots of optics cover options, so got this black rubber one also. Does work OK.
