You can run it compact or go full length, it’s your call. However, depending on your pistol platform, you may need to adjust your recoil spring to compensate for the added weight at the muzzle. For example, G17/G19 models ran great during testing with OEM recoil springs in shorter configs, but longer setups may require tuning.
