This extended length guide rod is made in the USA of stainless steel. The stainless steel is significantly heavier than the plastic and the extended weight adds another 20%.
This guide rod is designed for the G34 and G35 extended slide Glocks as well as the G24 and G17L. It fits perfectly in the slide and helps reduce recoil and manage muzzle flip.
