Double Diamond Extended Tungsten Guide Rod

$59.95
SKU: 1122
Non-Captured Guide Rod for G34/35/24 - adds extra weight to the muzzle of the gun to help reduce muzzle flip and felt recoil. Makes sense, more weight...less recoil.

Extra Length Tungsten Rod comes with factory weight 17lb flat wire spring.

Fits perfectly in the Glock 34 and 35. Will work in Gen 1, 2, 3, Glocks and the Gen 4 Glocks when paired with the Gen4 Recoil Assembly Adaptor Ring - SKU #1113.
Our extended guide rods are made of Tungsten carbide and will extend past the end of the slide on the 17/22; fit flush with the slide on the 34/35 and are slightly recessed in the 17L/24. It also works fits and functions in the new Glock 40 and Glock 41 when using the Gen4 Recoil Assembly Adaptor Ring - SKU #1113.

This rod includes a factory weight 17lb flatwire recoil spring. Make sure to purchase the flat wire springs shown below. What's nice about this is that you can purchase different spring weights and use just one guide rod.

Total Weight W/O Spring: 46 Grams (1.622 oz.). This race series guide rod adds an additional 12 grams (0.42 oz.) of weight (over the factory length 17/22 tungsten rod) at the end of the muzzle where it is most effective.

Designed to be used with ISMI recoil springs. The second picture shows the rod installed in a 34 and next to a standard length 17/22 rod. Made of Tungsten carbide.

USPSA Production legal.

Please Note: This guide rod will function in the Gen4 Glocks when paired with the Gen4 Recoil Assembly Adaptor Ring - SKU #1113.

Also available for Gen5 Glocks, see item 1231.

Definitely worth the money

by

While I have not shot my Glock yet with this installed, I wanted to give an initial review since there are none yet. Shipping was decently fast, arrived as ordered. Definitely noticeable heavier than the stock unit. I installed this on my Glock 17L. Installed it in less than a minute and before and after you can tell a difference. I switched from a 1911 to a 17L for USPSA shooting and am trying to get as much weight as I can in the gun. Definitely worth buying if you’re trying to add weight. The only con I can see is not with the guide rod but is the description. It says in a 17L is will be recessed, it actually sticks out about an inch or more when the slide is back. Not good if you are trying to bypass a rule in GSSF stock class. Other than that it’s a 5 star buy.
