The new GS A-Plate is the perfect fit for optics with the Aimpoint Acro mounting standard. The A-Plate sits right into the optic mounting system with the smallest profile possible. Sit your optic nice, low, and tight so it looks like it grew there!
The A-Plate, milled from aluminum in Nashville, TN, fits perfectly into the optic footprint of your Gen6 Glock 17, 19, 45. Unlike the Gen4/5 MOS plates, it is not necessary for Gen6 plates to be made from steel. The screws from your optic do not secure to the plate and screw directly into the steel slide instead. We chose aluminum in this case for its lightweight properties and cost-effectiveness.
Any optic that has the Aimpoint Acro footprint will fit and function on the GS A-Plate.
Please note: The A-Plate supersedes the factory Glock optic plates. Factory optic plates are NOT required for use with the A-Plate.
