One of the best all around firearms
by Shane
I bought a G23 Gen 3 from glockstore.com a few months back and it has become my favorite firearms by far, and I own quite a few guns. I also picked up a 9mm conversion barrel for it, so I can shoot 40 s&w or 9mm out of it, and it's the perfect gun to either carry or use as a range toy. If you're considering a G19, I would think about going with the G23 and a conversion barrel. This gun can be converted to shoot 4 different calibers (comes in 40 s&w, you can get either a 9mm or .357 conversion barrel, and you can also get a .22lr conversion kit for it). Awesome gun all around! Highly recommend this firearm.

I like the grip on the Gen 4 better than the Gen 3. It feels more secure in the hand. The dimensions of the 23 are perfect for carry- concealable, but substantial enough to absorb recoil and to provide a longer sight picture. I also like the Idea of the .357 Sig conversion barrel. In my opinion, you cannot beat the Glock.
Hope this helps.
Great gun
by John
I honestly use to dispise glocks. They were blocky and bulky guns that didn't fit my hand at all. Recently my wife was wanting one we went to the store and she was looking the dealer put the gen 4 in my hand and it felt like a glove. After a little review I found out they modeled the gen 4 after the 1911 grip which i love 1911's, but i also love how much I can personalize the glock. So the 23 gen 4 is most likely the last handgun i purchase ever until it gets destroyed.
Great pistol

First Glock I’ve ever owned and it turned out to be my number 1 pistol to grab. Fast, smooth and reliable. I own a number of different Semi Autos from different manufacturers and this is by far the best I have shot. Going to accurate it with a spring kit and barrel but even out of the box I’m getting consistent 5” groups at 9-12 yards. Thanks.
FINE WEAPON

I purchased a Gen 3 a few years ago. I still to this day love the gun. I want to get a Gen 4 one day, but haven't felt the need to do so just yet. I loved having it for off-duty carry when I was in law enforcement. Not too bulky and still have a decent amount of rounds. I would recommend for just about anyone who wants to carry concealed.
Utility Handgun

Love it. Had a gen 5 G19, buddy of mine convinced me to switch. EXACT SAME SIZE. Fits in all my Glock 19 holsters no problems. Can shoot 9mm as well. I think it’s great!
Great Shooting Gun

Tried out the Glock 23 and immediately fell in love, great gun and feels different. Expected much more recoil but it’s moderate for the caliber, it’s a great gun. This is not my first Glock, I have owned G17,G19, G23, G30SF and a G45 but my G23 feels different.
Learn how to shoot your glock

I love the Glock store. So much video information, and great service. I did not buy my pistol here. I am 12 miles from Buds gun shop lexington, KY. This was my first and only pistol. I bought it and never shot it for 2 plus years. shame on me, then I retired and got acquanited with my new friend. I changed the spring, this made a huge difference. This glock 23 is a gen 4. I put a XS big dot sight on it. Now this I love, very quick on a target. Its bam and you are there. I put a black list barrel on and a johnny glock trigger. I dry fire a lot, this shows up when I go to the range. There is a book called Navy Seal shooting, Chris Sajnog, . I have learned so much, on how to shoot. chris sajnog was a seal shooting instructor. Money well spent . you cant go wrong with this Glock 23. It does every thing a hand gun is supposed to do. Now you have to do your part and learn how to use it. hope this helps CBH
I can turn one Excellent gun into 4!!!!!!

I purchased a Glock 31 which is a Sig 357 caliber with one magazine. I purchased 2 more Sig 357 magazines from Gun Broker but the seller said they couldn't find the magazines so to make a long story short she went out and bought me (2) 40 caliber magazines and assured me that they would work for the 357's gun. Then I purchased a 40 ACP caliber barrel. So now I had a Sig 357 gun and a 40 ACP caliber gun with 3 magazines. Then I purchased a 9mm barrel conversion and (3) 9 mm magazines so out of one gun purchase and a few extras I now own 3 different caliber guns. Glock RULES!!!!!! Next I'm getting the 22LR conversion.

I purchased my Glock 23 40 cal from a dealer in Tulsa, Oklahoma about 20 years ago! This firearm has never failed me at all. This is the best firearm that I have had the pleasure of owning. I used it while on duty at two different police agencies. It’s a solid firearm and glad that I own it!
