Glock OEM Metal 01 MOS Cover Plate

Fwiw, these will fit a Glock 20 Gen 5. The length is the same and the holes line up it's just not as wide as a G20 so there will be a small ledge on either side of the cover plate. It's not that noticeable. This insert weighs 1.4oz which is the same as a piece of full width mild 3/16 thick steel from HF which surprised me. This must be some sort of alloy. The two screws that came with this looked used; the locktite was missing and they felt gritty trying to hand screw them in to the slide. I ended up getting a box of M3 x 0.5 thread pitch x 10 mm(so 8.3mm thread lengh) in 12.9 grade with countersunk heads. The holes in the slide are 8mm deep and there's 2mm of hole in the MOS cover plate so that provides plenty of thread in the slide. Anyway, if adding 1.4oz mass to your G20 to help slow it down and tame the bear loads you might give this a try.
