A Great Upgrade with a Side of Sparkle

by

Bought this in August 2025 for my Glock 43X, and I’ve put roughly 4,500–5,000 rounds through it. Overall, I’ve been happy with it. It definitely makes the gun more controllable and much more pleasant to shoot, which matters on an EDC.

The downside is long-term maintenance. On my setup, the feed ramp is steep and has a sharp transition near the breech, and it seems to shave very fine brass off rounds as they feed. That brass gets spread through the gun and makes it dirty faster than normal. If I don’t stay on top of cleaning, especially around the extractor, I can start seeing extraction issues, including double feeds and stovepipes.

I also think the finish around the feed ramp and breech end could be better. Overall, it shoots great and does what it’s supposed to do, but it comes with more fouling and maintenance.
