If you're a serious shooer you need this. Period.

I practice with the magic bullet and a laser target every day. It only takes a few minutes and it has absolutely, definitely makes a difference. If you look at it from a "how much do I save by not going to the range" perspective, the magic bullet pays for itself in no time.
For me, it's dry fire with the magic bullet (plus the laser target — sold separately) where I train. Going to the range is to validate what I've learned.
Exactly what I was seeking

There are so many options these days for dry practice, including externally-mounted motion sensor, systems that work with your iPhone or iPad, special targets, etc.. I wrestled with the idea of living with each of these, and in the end just got the Magic Bullet Laser Ammo system. Ideally I would have bought one of each system and compared them, but in the real world, that's rarely the way things work. I already had a dry-practice-specific gun set up with a Reset Trigger, so all I needed to do was drop in the Magic Bullet system. The combination is wonderful, I've been able to fine-tune my grip and trigger pull. The laser illuminates the target right where the sights are, so there's no tinkering with alignment. I've now got a fairly realistic trigger feel, the ability to do mag changes, the ability to use my existing holsters, and instant feedback on my sight alignment / sight picture -- all in a dead-simple package. I couldn't be happier.
