The 10-Day GS “R” Cut Service is only for unmodified Factory Glocks Slides, and Barrels. We're starting with 9mm, more models, and .40S&W coming soon!
Please Note: The 47/48/49 “R” Cut moves the front sight farther back than standard models due to the extended dust cover. G48 R Cut slides will have the same sight radius as 43X.
Please Note: G34's with a coffin cut cannot be R cut.
Now you can send your Factory Glock slide and barrel to The GlockStore and have it custom ported to give you all the benefits of reduced recoil and faster follow-up shots… without needing to buy a new gun.
The Process:
1.) We precisely mill ports in your barrel, aligned with a matching cut in the slide.
2.) All bare metal exposed by the cuts is protected by a cold blue coating, which allows us to preserve the factory slide and barrel finish.
3.) We ship the finished slide and barrel back to you… all in 10 business days or less.
Refinishes:
To preserve the high-quality factory finish on your slide and barrel, we apply cold bluing to protect the bare metal. While we offer other refinishes, such as Black DLC, Cerakote, and nitride, we think preserving the OEM finish is superior.
The best thing you can do is shoot! The carbon will adhere to your slide and barrel, making the cuts look natural and protecting the metal for 1000s of rounds to come.
Please Note:
This service includes both the slide and barrel porting. You must send both to ensure proper alignment. We do not recommend porting aftermarket barrels unless specifically approved by our custom shop.

PLEASE NOTE:
-Porting may slightly increase muzzle flash, especially with certain ammunition.
-Porting is not recommended for use with suppressors or compensated recoil systems.
-Some aftermarket suppressor height front sights with larger footprints may not be compatible with the GS R Cut.
-Once porting has begun, orders cannot be canceled or modified. Orders canceled after receipt but before cutting may be subject to up to a 10% Schedule & Handling Fee.
