The G49 MOS is essentially a G19 size grip frame with a G17 size slide, taking advantage of the proven carry frame size with a longer barrel and sight radius. This pistol is chambered in 9mm Luger, holds 15+1 rounds in standard magazine capacity, has a 4.49" barrel, Gen 5 characteristics, and the MOS system for mounting optics.

My favorite Glock configuration of all time!

What can I say besides I am in love. The gun feels balanced and the grip size is perfect! If this was a gen 3 or 4 it wouldn’t work as the finger groves made my pinky fall off. Now that the gen 5 got rid of that all my digits have space.

This is the best Glock for CC in my humble opinion, you get the longer slide and barrel for a better sight radius and accuracy, but you have a smaller frame for conceal carry. I’m glad that Glock finally made this combination after years and years of Glock enthusiasts like me saying “this is the best combo for self defense!” Kudos to Glock for seeing the light!
