Best Slide Stop Ever
by Jack
I have been very picky about my slide stop. I have a p80 build, g26, and I wanted to go from the black extended to a silver extended, then later gold.
They were out of stock in colors I wanted in extended, so I bought a silver $35 Sure Touch extended. Well, that was only for 3-pin, and didnt work in my 2-pin. It also was a matte silver, not reflective chrome as listed. So $35 wasted. I wish there was a consensus on what chrome is, and what silver is, and the difference between a matte finish and reflective finish. This matters.
Finally I found this brand, Tyrant Designs, and fell in love. I am so GLAD GS stocks this brand, and I hope they get more parts from this brand.
This slide stop has the look I wanted, it matches well with my other parts, and most important, it works better than the rest, for me at least.
Does the trick.

I have been using the usual extended Glock slide release on both my G34 and my G19, but after some more competition shooting techniques, I noticed that my right thumb has a slight chance of touching the slide release and locking it back between shots.
I gave the Tyrant a try due to its flat shape and sharp grooves in it for better grip, and voila, my thumb never touches it! This should give an edge when I head off to GSSF.
Fits G30, G21, but will not work in G36

This Tyrant slide stop fits G30 and G21 .45 ACP and perhaps others. (It does not fit G36 .45 ACP) my intention was for G36; after installation I could not get the slide to pull past the stop. Hmm, took a closer look at the Tyrant extender at the top. The design /machining did not match G36 stock Glock. But, it did match G30, so we installed on G30. Fits good, looks great. To be fair here, GS did not include G36 as a fit. I bought it anyway. Maybe add a line, will not work with G36.
