The GRT is the perfect tool to help you easily change your guide rod springs on the Stainless Steel and Tungsten Guide Rod assemblies. It's made from solid aluminum and anodized to a rich Royal Blue color to help prevent scratching and marring the surface.
Simply slip it over the guide rod and compress the spring to gain access to the Retaining Screw at the tip of the guide rod. Then remove the spring and replace with another.
Make sure to use a bit of Loctite on the screw threads to prevent it from vibrating out of place.
