GS Metallic Pin & Extended Controls Kit for Glock 42/43/43X/48

All of the parts work great and look even better. The picture is a little misleading because I thought that I would be receiving the extended mag release because of the picture but you DO NOT get the magazine release with this kit. Great job GS!

I went chrome and it looks really nice against the black Glock 43. This raised slide lock lever is remarkable, simply a must have. It’s extended just enough and is rounded - so it will not get snagged. This kit makes the 43 easier.

FYI folks - I installed the metallic pin and extended control kit in my G48 and it works perfectly (the trigger pin was a tight fit, but no problem).

Purchased this set for my 43. Installation was a breeze. Looks great and functions well.

I got this set in red. The finish looks great, everything fit perfectly and installation was quick and easy.

i have large hands and these definitely are a great addition to all my glocks. so much easier to operate for me than the factory controls. no problems in any holsters either. looks are an added extra as well.

All pins and slide stop were great. The reason this is getting 3 stars is because of how loose the extended slide release fits in the 43x. The spring that sits under the locking block is much smaller then the factory which means it's not a snug fit when replaced. There is an audible shake and rattle if you wiggle the gun around. The back of the slide release also doesn't fit within the bevel created on the factory body grooves. It sits slightly passed it on the 43x which i'm hoping doesn't cause scratch damage to the body of my gun. The raised bevel of the slide release is definitely much nicer and way easier to manipulate especially for people like myself with smaller hands.

Controls look nice, But a small amount of excess material or tightness leaves my slide stuck open on a power rack without a little bit of extra gusto. Problem will probably fix itself with some rounds through it but reccomend shooting before carrying with this upgrade.

Works as expected, slide lock lever seems to get stuck up possible due to rubbing on the frame but I assume after firing a few rounds this will go away. Only real complaint if you could even all it one is, blue is cerakote and doesn't match the blue of the extended mag or mag release from the Glock Store. I had hoped buying everything from one manufacturer everything would match color wise. Aside from that everything looks good and functions well

Installing this package was simple. I also installed the Double Diamond 3.5 lb connector. Took me 20 minutes and that's because I couldn't figure out why the slide wouldn't go back on. DUH! I forgot the trigger block. I put that big silver sucker in and and it went together easy. The extended controls makes operation so much easier. Well worth the money. Doing nothing else to the trigger the double D connector makes a huge difference. It to is worth is worth it. I swear a monkey could change those parts out. The extended mag release? Worth the trouble but you have to read my review there.

I love the way these look. The only downside is that my gun would get stuck in my Blackhawk Serpa CQC holster every now and then. As it turns out it, it was the ext. take-down lever getting caught on an indent right above the locking mechanism. After spending about a minute shaving that indent down with a knife, it draws perfectly and retains the gun just like it would stock. I absolutely love how my 43 looks now.... (Not that I didn't before)

Just installed this setup on my G43. Very satisfied with operation of these components, specifically the slide release. The OEM release was very difficult to operate, especially with gloves on. I usually have to pull the slide back a few mm and then push the OEM button to release the slide.

The GS release works with much less effort. All I have to do is push the button and it releases time after time. I also appreciate the extra real estate of the slide lock. A lot easier to remove the slide now. Very happy with my purchase.

I purchased this kit for my Glock43 and it looks GREAT!
NO problems at all. Had it installed at the new Nashville Glock Store.
However, I gave it 4 stars because the picture in the kit looks like you get a magazine release button too. You dont! I have a nice kit with the Dark Earth Color but a standdard black magzine release button. I can't find a Dark Earth Colored release button anywhere.

Looks great, fit perfectly on my 43, installation is easy…. I got the red kit it looks badass!

I got this for my G42 and it went on great, it fits, everything works properly. BUT it’s not the metallic finish that I thought was advertised. It’s a flat color and looks like plastidip. I had trouble on the trigger pin and my punch did some damage to the paint on the pin. I had assumed when I read the title on the description that I was going to get shiny blue parts. I don’t know if the description changes depending on the color choice but overall I love the product just not the finish. I’m not upset or disappointed because this product operates and does it job well.

I just installed this kit, very easy to do. The slide stop lever is a plus and the extended slide lock does make it a bit easier to release the slide, a little sharp but better than the stock one.
I went with the black kit. I also buy the deluxe hammer & punch kit, very nice and it was a big help with pushing the pins out.
I should have bought the silver color, but the black does look good.

Looks great and very easy to install. Took less that 10 minutes.

Absolutely love it, controls feels great the only downside for me was the paint job on the parts the slide lock has 2 spots with no paint also my pins are missing paint but overall I love it ( note color picked blue)
