Tungsten, yes! Lighter spring, no.
by Erik
First I ordered the 11# spring and it wouldn't shut the action properly. I ordered the 17# spring next which is just a pound lighter than the factory Gen 3 and what a difference it made! Quick acquisition and improved recoil allowed for improved speed and accuracy. I'm sure there is a median, but honestly it's more important to me that I have no malfunctions which are detrimental to speed. The weight of the tungsten makes it feel like a different gun.
Super heavy Tungsten guide rod for Glock 19 gen 3

Great product, Excellent machine work, With the number of products the Glock Store moves, I think they do a Great Job ! Shipping was a little delayed, but that’s because of their work load. I’ve ordered from them 3-times, and will order more. Thanks Glock Store Team !!
I would recommend this upgrade to anyone who buys a Glock.

It's everything they say it is. The captured spring makes it a cinch to install. I have arthritis in my elbows so being able to select a suitable spring was a priority for me. I put the 17 lb spring and tungsten rod in my 21SF, very pleased with results and it's reassuring to know a lighter version is available if I need it someday. I put a couple magazines through it and the guide rod does indeed make it a bit faster to get sights back on target.

Guide Road

I boded a Tungsten guide rod of 15 lb for my RMR slide with a PSA Dagger frame. A Tungsten guide road is better than a DPM System Technologies guide road. Easy to operate and price a little bit better. It is much better than the OEM Guide Road Clock 19 Gen 3.
20lb Spring chewed through random AMMO no prob, get slide racker
by Scott
G19 Gen3 Tungsten Guide Rod w/20lb Spring. Thought the heavy spring may be too much for various ammo, but powered through a mag of random 147g, 124g, 94g, 115g with no issues. TangoDown Slide Racker helps with the pull for sure. TLR-7a light seems to help with the weight and flip. Not a great shot w/ Glocks, but seems to help. 17lb Spring may be more of an OEM option.
TUNGSTEN SPRING, NEVER KNEW, NOW I KNOW.
by JEAN
GREAT PRODUCT, THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE SELLING AND IF IT WASN’T BECAUSE OF THIS TUNGSTEN SPRING, I WOULD HAVE NEVER LEARNED ABOUT THE DIFFERENCE IT MAKES SHOOTING MY GLOCK NOW. THANKS A MILLION, I WILL BE PURCHASING MORE AND VISITING WHEN I’M IN TENNESSEE AGAIN. 👍🏽
Perfect modification for a 19 G3.
by Stone
Perfect modification for a 19 G3. The major issue with a 19 as compared to other comparable firearms is the muzzle flip. This high quality item solves that issue completely. The results are tighter groups, increased performance, and higher levels of accuracy and confidence. And the price is awesome. When Lenny said to get rid of the OEM part and replace it with this item, I listened. I just wish I would have listened sooner.
Flat and Tight

Bought one for my G20 and noticed a significant difference immediately ! Had to buy one for my 17, 19 and 26 for the best flat shooting tight groups. Big thank you GS !
