The Radian Compressor Guide Rod allows you to quick change the spring between 13lb, 15lb, and 18lb weights. Flutes along the guide rod allow the spring to move with less friction for smoother cycling. The heat treated guide rod has a durable and corrosion-resistant Nitride finish. It uses a screwless, dovetail interface that captures the spring creating a simple and secure lockup.

Install Instructions:

STEP 1 | Compress installed spring and insert tool* into the cross hole to hold the spring down.

STEP 2 | Remove the dovetailed end cap. Then remove the tool from the cross hole, allowing the spring to be removed.

STEP 3 | Install a different spring weight, compress new spring, and insert the tool back into the cross hole again.

STEP 4 | Align dovetail to install cap, remove the tool, and allow spring to capture around the dovetail interface.

While a tool is not necessary for the Radian guide rod, it can assist in holding the spring down when removing and installing the cap.
