Universal Pistol Rear Sight Tool

This site tool is amazing after using it a couple times now I will gladly pay Double than what I did. It comes in a nice nylon zip up case with cut out form for all the pieces on the inside to stay in place it’s approximately 6 1/2 inches in length by 4 inches tall and 2 5/8 inches in width, made out of solid block of aluminum. It has nylon inserts that snap been anywhere metal is going to touch your slide, it locks your slide Down in four separate locations, Top bottom and each side of the slide and has ample amount of adjustment to it. I don’t usually leave reviews so I’m not sure what else to say except for you will not regret purchasing this tool! Especially since you’ll spend more having a gunsmith install a set of sites for you. go on YouTube And read all the hype on it, it really does an excellent job! After using it a few times now I would’ve gladly paid double then what I did.

I ordered this along with a set of truglo brite sites tfx. After I watched Lenny demonstrate it on one of his videos I went ahead with changing my own sights. And let me tell you I had no problems at all. This is one great tool no lie. It removed the FACTORY sight and installed the performance sight with out one single problem. A most have.

I found this sight tool to be excellent. Works great does what you need, and the price is right.

So far, I have only used this once to remove an original sight and install night sights. This really works great and will pay for itself after one use, instead of paying a gunsmith. It works so good, I wish I could use it more often, but at this time I do not need to replace any other sights. The instructions are good and easy to follow and the storage package design was well thought out. Additionally, it is nice just to observe such a well-made piece of equipment. Kinda' like just looking at a well-made gun.

Used it to replace the rear sight of my G20 with a Hi-Viz Lightwave H30. This sight pusher was cheap, but very solidly built. And the Hi-viz fit very snugly in the slide rear sight channel, so I'm glad I had this large of a pusher frame to grab ahold of and acquire enough leverage to turn the knob and do the job. But it's still small and lightweight enough that you can easily take it with you somewhere and do the work away from home, such as helping replace a friend's rear sight. It left no marks on my slide. I had been putting off replacing my sights for a while before I got this tool, but now I'm actually eager to upgrade my G40 and future G21 sights as well. Probably the best possible value in sight pushers around. This purchase makes me feel smart and smug!

I bought this when it went on 20% discount. I also bought a Glock(R) front sight tool. I have several sets of tritium sights that have become too dim on my oldest Glocks.

I have never changed sights by myself. It seemed difficult to do with any precision. I watched the Glock Store video, and decided I could do this. I was right. The set up is just about idiot proof. I refreshed my guns with brighter new sites. It was easy.

It has adjustable plates to accommodate different slide silhouettes and infinitely adjustable horizontal vises and vertical platform. That means you change out most dovetail tension mounted sights

This is a fantastic tool that is easy to use. I am sure that I will use this on other projects that require removing or installing small parts. With the rubber inserts the factory sight and slide were well protected from scratches and damage. The price is also cheaper than I found on Amazon.

I just used this to replace the sights on my G22 & G27 with the Trijicon HDs. The tool worked, but it wasn't easy. Removing the sights was a snap; a few turns of the handle and the old sights were out. Installing the new ones, though, was a chore. I had to use a wrench to get the necessary leverage and I don't know how Lenny was able to do it with his bare hands. I guess I wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley. Even with the wrench, it was still a real chore and the handle of the tool got chewed up pretty good from the wrench. At any rate, I got the job done and would strongly recommend this handy tool.

I bought one of these sight tools several years ago for use on my various caliber Glocks. I have installed several night sights and it was a extremely easy procedure. Well worth the small investment. Not having ever installed night sights, it took me less than 10 minutes. Using it along with a $9 digital caliper to make sure I had equal distance on both sides of the slide's sight groove, I have consistently set my sights accurately without the need to fire a shot. When I did do a test fire, it was perfectly zeroed on target. It comes in a very nice padded zippered case. It is quality built with tight tolerances.. no sloppy play in the adjustment. There are several videos on YouTube that will show you just how easy this tool is to use. I highly recommend this tool.

I been using one of these for more than two years on multiple types of handguns. It works great. The only comments that I could make are: take it slow, if the sight won't move be sure that there is not a set screw as occasionally happens. If its still not moving try some heat from a heat gun because sometimes some Loc-Tite is used. Put some oil on the threads on the tool - this makes a huge difference. If possible, secure the tool to your workbench. I have mine mounted on a heavy wood block that I can clamp into a woodworkers vise on my bench (the woodworkers vise works better for me for this than a bench vise because I can keep my work closer to the bench top). I have not any negative experiences and other than losing one of the plastic blocks behind my bench no other issues (the block was replaced for free). I would buy again.

I just recently used this to replace sights-great tool-easy to use, very intuitive and the price is great, much better value than many other sight tools around

Watched video seeing how it was used looked very easy made me want it did order along with the 4 in 1 tool another must A+ tool must new Hi-ViS sights did order them to, when recived had to use tools to change to see ease WoW easy to use worked great did bolth Glock 19 and S&W Super Tools A+ ***** - yes use lock tight red...

After watching Lenny's video on the tool, actually using it was very easy! I removed the rear sight on my G17 Gen5 in no more than 5 minutes. I thought I might have splurged until I started working with the SI G.U.M that uses the rear sight dovetail. It would have been wonderful to use the tool to put the plate in the center, but the plate is wider than the piece that pushes the rear sight. Oh well!

For the money this is the best option available. Quality is excellent. Worked perfectly on my G48 switching to Ameriglo iDot Night Sights. I watched Lenny's video several times since this was my first time changing sights on my own. Very satisfied!

Super, super tool worth every penny! Easy to use, (be sure to lube screw threads before using!) If I had ANY helpful hints, I would say the top piece within the screw should also have a scored 'CENTER' mark, for easier lining up with the blue frame (which is indeed marked). I used a set of calipers and made my center mark with a super fine pencil. Other than that, 100% satisfied with the quality of the product!

Yes, it does the job perfectly. First time I`ve ever attempted any mod to a pistol. Well worth the money.

Damn good tool at less cost than the ones elsewhere. Very Sturdy and it holds the slide in place while the sight is being moved. Ii's a good buy for sure.

This sight tool rocks. Definitely oil the screws and bushings before using (and work the oil in). Well worth the money.
