Slide Cover Plate

Nice tactile feel and color coordinated addition to my other G20 performance parts.

This plate fits great and has a clean look, unfortunately the gold color is more orange in color than a yellow gold color. Not disappointed but wanted a more true gold color like is shown in web site picture.

I bought one because I am trimming my black g26 Judah/Patmos/80 Polymer with a lot of silver.
I chose the black/silver serrated, a clean two-tone color.
This new one came factory-sealed, bagged and pristine. It looked gorgeous...no fingerprints on it, no dust, and the silver part was almost mirror-finish.
My old one was plastic and severely damaged from the day I assembled it. At any rate, I replaced the part with this new one here, but during slide assembly to the frame, it must have slipped down and the extractor scratched the lower silver part real bad. It isn't real noticeable, and I had planned on getting a few different colored ones anyway, but I thought I would pass along my thoughts and a warning to not make the dumb mistake I did. Even with a tiny scratch, this part is many times better than the mangled plastic one I had used.

Exactly what I expected and as described. The black matches my stock G19 gen5 perfectly. Watch the video, Lenny makes the install look as easy as it is. Took me less then 2 minutes. And he's right you could do it with a ballpoint pen. I didn't and would say you can probably find something better. But it could be done.
